ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 24, 2010) -- California-breds Straightomidnight, Wolf Tail and Alphie�s Bet are entered in Saturday�s $150,000 Grade III Sham Stakes for 3-year-olds at Santa Anita.

Straightomidnight is by Spinelessjellyfish, out of the Chief�s Crown mare Cutsy, was bred by Willow Tree Farm, is owned by Lo-Bo Racing and Cyrus Tahmasebi and is trained by A.C. Avila. The Barretts graduate has two win in 11 starts, earnings of $40,928 and is coming off a fifth in a Jan. 27 optional claimer.

Wolf Tail is by Strive, out of the Dynaformer mare Bright Sunday, was bred by owner Ed Delaney and trained by Doug O�Neill. Wolf Tail is the only stakes winner in the field, having won the Graduation Stakes at Del Mar. He has earnings of $106,840 and is coming off a third in a Jan. 17 optional claimer.

Alphie�s Bet is by Tribal Rule, out of the Candi�s Gold mare Miss Alphie, was bred by Teresa Williams, is owned by Williams and Peter Johnson and is trained by Alexis Barba. He has one win in four starts, earnings of $51,320 and is coming off a Jan. 15 maiden win.
