ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2017) – Streaking Tribalist and comebacking California Diamond are entered in Friday’s $100,000 Grade III Eddie D Stakes at Santa Anita.
Tribalist is by Tribal Rule, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Ultimate Summer, was bred by Dutko & Abrams, is owned by Abrams, Dutko or Paran and is trained by Blake Heap. He has a four-race win streak with six starts, earnings of $220,900 and is coming off a win in the Aug. 18 Green Flash.
California Diamond is by Harbor the Gold, out of the Slewdledo mare Carrie’s a Jewel, was bred by Stormy Hull, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller. He has five wins in 11 starts, earnings of $469,280 and is making his first start since an eighth in the Apr. 8 Echo Eddie.
