$60,000 Alphabet Kisses Stakes MONEY LOVER

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2010) – Money Lover shook loose on the backstretch and cruised to a 3 ½-length win in the $60,000 Alphabet Kisses Stakes for California-bred and California-sired maiden fillies and mares, the opening race on Saturday’s Gold Rush XI card at Hollywood Park.

Money Lover is by Marino Marini, out of the Unbridled mare Affordability, was bred by owner Rancho San Miguel, trained by Eric Kruljac and ridden by Mike Smith.

Money Lover finished second in her only other start and has earnings of $44,800. She ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:17.41 and went off the 2-1 favorite.

Myra G was second and there was a dead-heat for show between California Heat and Sibersky.
