$70,000 Warren’s Thoroughbreds GOING FOR A SPIN

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 23, 2011) – Going For a Spin skimmed the rail in deep stretch to win Saturday’s $70,000 Warren’s Thoroughbreds Stakes for fillies and mares at Hollywood Park.

Going For a Spin is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Mr. Greeley mare Gender Motors, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer and was ridden by Rafael Bejarano.

She has two wins in eight starts, earnings of $97,840 and was coming off a third in a Mar. 17 allowance.

Going For a Spin ran the seven furlongs in 1:23.97 and won by 2 ½ lengths at odds of 5-2.

Zenidekka was second and Queenie Marini was third in the field of six.
