ALBANY, Calif. (Apr. 26, 2017) – Millionaire and defending champion Alert Bay and fellow California-breds G. G. Ryder, Many Roses and Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Camino Del Paraiso are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Grade III San Francisco Mile Stakes at Golden Gate.

Alert Bay is by City Zip, out of the Dushyantor mare Hickory, was bred by Thomas Bell and Ross McLeod, is owned by Peter Redekop and trained by Blaine Wright. He has 13 wins in 30 starts, earnings of $1,168,555 and is coming off an Apr. 2 allowance win. He won this race last year.

G. G. Ryder is by Chhaya Dance, out of the Storm Boot mare Stormy Gigi, was bred by Eagle Oak Ranch, is owned by Hollendorfer or George Todaro and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has 12 wins in 34 starts, earnings of $531,095 and is coming off a third in an Apr. 2 allowance. He won this race in 2015 and was fifth last year

Many Roses is by Many Rivers, out of the Bertrando mare Heirloom Rose, was bred by Ellen Jackson, Jerry Martin & Margaret Martin, is owned by Victory Rose Thoroughbreds, Martin or Martin and is trained by Jackson. He has four wins in 11 starts, earnings of $103,560 and is coming off a fifth in an Apr. 2 allowance.
