HOBBS, N.M. (Nov. 19, 2014) – Multiple graded winner Alert Bay is the lone California-bred entered in Wednesday’s $200,000 Zia Park Derby for 3-year-olds at Zia Park.
Alert Bay is by City Zip, out of the Dushyantor mare Hickory, was bred by Thomas Bell and Ross McLeod, is owned by Peter Redekop and trained by Blaine Wright.
He has five wins in 11 starts, earnings of $368,279 and is coming off a back-to-back Grade III wins at Hastings Park.
