Barretts Juvenile to Unhitchthetrailor

POMONA, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2011) – Odds-on favorite Unhitchthetrailor kicked clear around the final turn and held on to win Sunday’s $87,000 Barretts Juvenile Stakes for 2-year-olds at Fairplex Park.

Unhitchthetrailor is by Kafwain, out of the Ide mare Robotica, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Daniels or London or Lovingier and is trained by Gary Sherlock.

The $20,000 Barretts purchase has two wins in six starts, earnings of $145,529 and was coming off a sixth in the Sept. 5 I’m Smokin.

He ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:21.28 and won by three lengths at odds of 4-5. Fellow California-breds Taylor Marini and Tio Vic were second and third.
