DEL MAR, Calif. (Apr. 21, 2017) — The catalog for the 28th Annual Barretts May Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale is now on-line and will be mailed soon. This auction of 72 two-year-olds will be held on Wednesday, May 17 in the Surfside Raceplace located on the grounds of Del Mar Racetrack in Del Mar, California beginning at 2:00 p.m. PDT. The official training preview is scheduled to be held on Monday, May 15 on the Del Mar racetrack beginning at 10:00 a.m. PDT. The preview will be streamed live at barretts.com. Video clips for each preview can be viewed on-line at barretts.com by the next morning.
Among the stallions represented in the sales catalog are Alternation, Animal Kingdom, Awesome Patriot, City Zip, Creative Cause, Curlin, Dialed In, Discreet Cat, Distorted Humor, Empire Way, Exchange Rate, Include, Justin Phillip, Kitten’s Joy, Lucky Pulpit, Majestic Warrior, Midshipman, Mineshaft, More Than Ready, Munnings, New Year’s Day, Oxbow, Point of Entry, Run Away and Hide, Shackleford, Smiling Tiger, Street Sense, Super Saver, Surf Cat, Swagger Jack, Tizbud, Tribal Rule, Ultimate Eagle, Unusual Heat and Vronsky.
Additional two-year-olds will also be included in the catalog supplement. The entry deadline for the catalog supplement is May 3, 2017. The catalog supplement will be posted shortly after that date.
