Before the Bell Gets First Winner

STOCKTON, Calif. (Sept. 22, 2012) – California stallion Before the Bell was represented by his first winner Saturday when Star Genesis won the sixth race at Stockton.

Star Genesis is out of the Half a Year mare Reign Supreme, was bred by Willow Tree Farm, is owned by Nevada Equine, Phil Baneth and trainer Steve Sherman. The 3-year-old ran the mile in 1:39.03 and won by four lengths at odds of 9-5.
