Big Macher, Red Outlaw in Cary Grant

DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 19, 2014) – Multiple graded winner Big Macher and unbeaten Red Outlaw lead a contentious field in Sunday’s $100,000 Cary Grant Stakes for Golden State Series eligibles at Del Mar.

Celebrity Status is by Vronsky, out of the Something Lucky mare A Lucky Happening, was bred by Old English Rancho, is owned by E.W. and Judy Johnston and Cherry Hawk Stables and is trained by Donald Warren. He has two wins in 14 starts, earnings of $168,636 and is coming off a second in an Oct. 31 optional claimer.

Got Even is by Stephen Got Even, out of the Blare of Trumpets mare Kathryns Birthday, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Altamira Racing, Bruce Chandler and FU Stables and is trained by Peter Miller. He has four wins in 30 starts, earnings of $338,330 and is coming off a third in a Nov. 7 optional claimer.

Patriots Rule is by Tribal Rule, out of the Seattle Bound mare Candy Factory, was bred by Dahlberg Farms, is owned by Charles Garvey and is trained by Robertino Diodoro. He has four wins in 11 starts, earnings of $232,170 and is coming off a seventh in the Oct. 31 Twilight Derby.
