DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 21, 2014) – Grade I stakes winner Big Macher is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $250,000 Grade II Pat O’Brien Stakes at Del Mar.
Big Macher is by Beau Genius, out of the Kris S mare Insight, was bred by Ballena Vista Farm, is owned by Tom Mansor and Tachycardia Stables and trained by Richard Baltas.
He has five wins in 11 starts, earnings of $496,428 and is coming off a win in the July 27 Bing Crosby.
