TEMECULA, Calif. (Feb. 16, 2016) — EAS Equine Alliance announces the release of 2016 breeding season shares for the royally bred Storm Cat son Big Surf. Already an international sire of winners, Big Surf’s 2017 foals will be eligible for California-bred incentives and the Breeders Cup.
Available for the first time to Cal-bred breeders, this regally bred, winning son of Storm Cat brings a top black-type, champion, racing female line to California. Big Surf’s dam Surfside was a champion 3-year-0ld filly, and 4-time Grade 1 winner of $1,852,987. His grand dam Flanders was a champion 2-year-old filly, three-time Grade 1 winner and Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies winner of $805,000.
A limited number of breeding season shares are available for approved mares, which include: stakes winners and producers, proven crosses and high nick ratings. All shares come with live foal guarantees.
