OZONE PARK, N.Y. (Mar. 26, 2017) – Odds-on favorite Bluegrass Flag, a New York-bred daughter of California stallion Bluegrass Cat, ran off with Saturday’s $90,000 Cicada Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Aqueduct.
Bluegrass Flag ran the six furlongs in 1:11.99 and won by six lengths at odds of 3-10 in the field of three.
Bluegrass Flag has two wins in four starts, earnings of $113,220 and was coming off a second in the Franklin Square Stakes.
