HOBBS, N.M. (Oct. 2, 2017) – Bortstein is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $50,000 Governor’s Cup Stakes for 2-year-olds at Zia Park.
Borstein is by Warrior’s Reward, out of the Skip Away mare Muir Beach, was bred by Fleming Thoroughbred Farm, is owned by Don Heim and Clara Moore and trained by Thomas Thomas.
He has one win in two starts, earnings of $17,000 and is coming off a Sept. 25 maiden win.
