SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (Jan. 21, 2018) – Bortstein is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Riley Allison Stakes for 3-year-olds at Sunland Park.
Bortstein is by Warrior’s Reward, out of the Skip Away mare Muir Beach, was bred by Fleming Thoroughbred Farm, is owned by Don Helm, A and A Equine and Clara Moore and is trained by Justin Evans.
He has one win in four starts, earnings of $28,460 and is coming off a sixth in a Dec. 16 allowance.
