Breeders’ Cup Tickets on Sale

ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 24, 2014) — General admission tickets to the 31st Breeders’ Cup World Championships Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at Santa Anita Park are now available for purchase online at http://www.breederscup.com/tickets.

General admission tickets sold online offer lower price points than those at the gate on race days.
Over the course of two days, 13 grade I races will be run with purses and awards totaling more than $26 million. The event will culminate with the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic (gr. I), airing live in primetime on NBC on Saturday, November 1. In addition to the races, the Breeders’ Cup has curated new entertainment and experiential programming for the track’s infield and general admission ticket areas to further enhance the fan experience.
“We couldn’t be more excited about the new programming we’ve implemented and the new activities for our fans,” said Breeders’ Cup president and CEO Craig Fravel. “In addition to the 13 championship races, we’re utilizing the infield to provide unique experiences and entertainment options that are sure to appeal to attendees of all ages. This year’s Breeders’ Cup promises to be a true fusion of world class racing, luxury, hospitality, and live entertainment.”
General admission tickets will grant attendees access to the Breeders’ Cup’s first-ever Halloween Fright-Day, designed for school-aged children and their parents. Located in the infield, there will be trick-or-treating with local businesses, a petting zoo, pony rides, themed musical performances and bounce houses.
On Saturday, infield guests will enjoy live music featuring the popular Southern California swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, plus a beer garden and food truck festival with more than 25 of Los Angeles’s best food trucks. Popular participating trucks include The Grilled Cheese Truck, Lobsta Truck, Komodo and Ragin Cajun. Admission to the infield on Breeders’ Cup Saturday is $10 with VIP packages available at $75.
Pricing for general admission tickets is listed below, and all attendees will receive a complimentary official Breeders’ Cup World Championships track program.
—Advanced online General Admission prices: $10 for Championship Friday and $25 for Championship Saturday. General Admission tickets provide access to the first floor grounds of the facility including the Track Apron and Infield. Patrons can print tickets at home and bring them to the track for admission. Tickets may be purchased online until MIDNIGHT (PT) on Thursday, October 30.
—General admission prices at the gate: $15 for Championship Friday and $40 for Championship Saturday.
—Infield-only admission prices: $5 for Championship Friday and $10 for Championship Saturday. This ticket provides access to the infield only and does not allow cross-over to the main facility without an additional fee of $10 on Friday and $30 on Saturday.
Tickets for the 31st running of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships are also available in the following areas, all offering some of the best views of the track: Grandstand reserved seating ranging in price from $25-$125 per person for Championship Friday and $50-$200 per person for Championship Saturday. Trackside premium dining options remain, but inventory is selling fast.
