Caballo Bonito Moves to Oak Creek

VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2018) — Multiple graded stakes winner Swiss Yodeler is remembered as a dominant force in California breeding. Now his son, Caballo Bonito, Swiss Yodeler – In My Life, by Byars (Deputy Minister), returns to California for the 2019 breeding season. 

Caballo Bonito hails from a sire line of speed. His sire Swiss Yodeler won five stakes at the age 2, including the G1 Hollywood Futurity, the G2 Hollywood Juvenile Championship Stakes, and the G3 Best Pal Stakes.  His grandsire Eastern Echo also showed success at 2 by winning the G1 Futurity Stakes at Belmont Park.   

Upon his retirement from racing, Swiss Yodeler became a most influential sire. He was consistently one of California’s leading sire of 2-year-olds. He is the sire of Thor’s Echo ($2,461,490), the 2006 G1 Breeders Cup Sprint Champion and Eclipse Award winner. 

Caballo Bonito, the only son of Swiss Yodeler in California, will be standing at Oak Creek Farm for a fee of $2,000 LFG.
