DEL MAR, Calif. (Mar. 30, 2017) – A Northern California Yearling Sale graduate by Lucky Pulpit brought $360,000 at Wednesday’s Barretts March Select Sale of 2-Year-Olds in training at Del Mar.
Californiabyanose, a filly out of the Mr. Greeley mare Nine to Five Lady, was bred by Cole Ranch, consigned by Havens Bloodstock Agency and purchased by Dennis O’Neill for Amr Zedan. She was the fastest previewer in the sale.
Another purchase of interest to California breeders was a Kentucky-bred colt by California stallion Haynesfield for $130,000.
