Cal-bred Pair in Green Flash

DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 12, 2012) – California-breds Bench Points and Lakerville are entered in Wednesday’s $85,000 Green Flash Handicap at Del Mar.

Bench Points is by Benchmark, out of the Free House mare Mo Chuisle, was bred by Gary Rocks, is owned by Donnie Crevier, Linda Mariani, Charles Martin and Mary Jo Zuraitis and is trained by Tim Yakteen. He has five wins in 11 starts, earnings of $292,190 and is coming off a fifth in a June 22 allowance.

Lakerville is by Unusual Heat, out of the Out of Place mare Foreverinthegame, was bred by Abrams and Team Green, is owned by Madeline Auerbach and trained by Barry Shapiro. He has four wins in five starts, earnings of $189,740 and is coming off a consecutive optional claiming wins.
