Cal-bred Pair in Mt. Rainier

AUBURN, Wash. (July 13, 2017) – Please Be Me and Papa Frank are entered in Sunday’s $50,000 Mt. Rainier Stakes at Emerald Downs.

Please Be Me is by Sea of Secrets, out of the Lord Carson mare Please Lord, was bred by Megan Stiehr, is owned by Ya Killing Me and Saratoga West and is trained by Jeffrey Metz. He has three wins in eight starts, earnings of $25,875 and is coming off a May 29 claiming win.

Papa Frank is by Papa Clem, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Tialinga, was bred by Black Diamond Racing, is owned by Mary Tate and Shane Bailey and is trained by Tate. He has four wins in 28 starts, earnings of $62,560 and is coming off a second in a July 2 optional claimer.
