ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 29, 2017) – California-bred multiple stakes winners Magic Mark and Avanti Bello are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Santana Mile Stakes at Santa Anita.
Magic Mark is by Benchmark, out of the Deputy Governor mare Jewel Magic, was bred by owners Dorine and John Lanza and is trained by Ron Ellis. He has six wins in 20 starts, earnings of $359,969 and is coming off a fifth in the Feb. 26 Tiznow Stakes.
Avanti Bello is by Include, out of the Mizzen Mast mare Masterful Lass, was bred by Lou Neve, is owned by Suarez or Keh or Richardson, et al and is trained by Doug O’Neill. He has six wins in 23 starts, earnings of $413,416 and is coming off a win in the Feb. 26 Tiznow Stakes.
