Cal-bred Pair in Northlands Stake

EDMONTON, Canada (Aug. 22, 2012) – California-breds Our New Tale and Caro’s Song are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Sonoma Handicap at Northlands Park.

Our New Tale is by Our New Recruit, out of the Tale of the Cat mare Tale of the Scale, was bred by Lee Searing, is owned by CanMedia and is trained by Rodney Cone. She has three wins in nine starts, earnings of $23,842 and is coming off a fourth in a July 27 claimer.

Caro’s Song is by Jet West, out of the With Approval mare With a Song, was bred by Eagle Oak Ranch, is owned by Bob Beaverford and John Bezjack and is trained by Dale Greenwood. She is coming off a maiden win in her fourth start with earnings of $14,974.
