Cal-bred Sells for $400,000

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2012) – A California-bred colt by Unusual Heat sold for $400,000 at Thursday’s session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

The colt, out of the Moscow Ballet mare Freedom Dance, is a half-brother to Grade I winner Cost of Freedom. He was bred by Harris Farms, consigned by Valkyre Stud, agent, and purchased by Ed Savant.
