Cal-bred Trio Brings Six Figures Each

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 20, 2016) – Three more California-breds sold for six figures at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

A colt by Uncle Mo, out of the Gotham City mare Democratic Sweep, sold for $230,000. He was bred by Dr. Dorothee Kieckhefer & Ashford Stud, was consigned by Columbiana Farm, agent, and was purchased by Holly & David Wilson.

A colt by Harlington, out of the Lord At War mare Pretti Woman, sold for $105,000. He was bred by James and Tammy McKenney, was consigned by Darby Dan Farm, agent, and was purchased by Slamdunk Racing. He is a full brother to the Grade II-winning Cal-bred Uzziel.

A colt by First Samurai, out of Unusual Heat mare Andover the Cash, sold for $100,000. He was bred by Madeline Auerbach, was consigned by Four Star Sales, agent, and was purchased by Kings Equine, agent.
