Cal-bred Trio Entered in Breeders’ Cup

DEL MAR, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2017) – California-breds B Squared, Skye Diamonds and Richard’s Boy are entered for the Breeders’ Cup, with their races to be held Saturday at Del Mar.

B Squared is entered for the $1.5 million Breeders’ Cup Twinspires Sprint. He is by Square Eddie, out of the Ten Most Wanted mare Silar Rules, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. He has three wins in nine starts, earnings of $243,753 and is coming off a win in the Oct. 21 California Flag. He has post position 4 and is 30-1 on the morning line.

Skye Diamonds is entered for the $1 million Grade I Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint. She is by First Dude, out of the Johannesburg mare Exonerated, was bred by Dizney Double Diamond, is owned by Acker, Allen Racing & Bloom Racing and trained by William Spawr. She has nine wins in 16 starts, earnings of $489,150 and is coming off consecutive graded stakes wins. She has post position 12 and is 5-1 on the morning line.

Richard’s Boy is entered for the $1 million Grade I Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint. He is by Idiot Proof, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Marissa’s Joy, was bred by Harold and Pamela Tillema, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller. He has nine wins in 26 starts, earnings of $678,440 and is coming off a second in the Oct. 21 California Flag. He has post position 7 and is 10-1 on the morning line.
