Cal-bred Trio in Friday Stakes

POMONA, Calif. (Sept. 16, 2012) – California-breds Trapper’s Bounty, Camille C and Magic School are entered in the second division of Friday’s $50,000 Bangles and Beads Stakes for fillies and mares at Fairplex Park.

Trapper’s Bounty is by Trapper, out of the Pirate’s Bounty mare K’S Bounty, was bred by Joseph Morey Jr. Revocable Trust, is owned by Bill McCarty and trained by Adam Kitchingman. She has seven wins in 24 starts, earnings of $252,576 and is coming off a fifth in a Sept. 13 optional claimer.

Camille C is by Roman Dancer, out of the Rahy mare Paris Operetta, was bred by Rod and Lorraine Rodriguez, is owned by Carlos Polanco and trained by Marcelo Polanco. She has three wins in 31 starts, earnings of $385,955 and is coming off an eighth in a July 27 optional claimer.

Magic School is by In Excess, out of the Unusual Heat mare The Usual, was bred by Madeline Auerbach, is owned by Madeline Auerbach and Little Red Feather Racing and trained by Barry Abrams. She has three wins in 15 starts, earnings of $189,776 and is coming off a win in an Aug. 26 optional claimer.
