Cal-bred Trio in Dupret Derby

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (Aug. 4, 2016) – California-breds Call Saul, Tentwelvefourteen and Awe are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Robert Dupret Derby for 3-year-olds at Santa Rosa.

Call Saul is by Comic Strip, out of the Roar mare Ms. Booty, was bred by Dr. & Mrs. William Gray, is owned by Gallegos, Greenman, Hickman-McBrayer & Tahajian and is trained by Dean Greenman. He has two wins in 10 starts, earnings of $53,831 and is coming off a consecutive wins.

Tentwelvefourteen is by Tannersmyman, out of the Synastry mare Sassy Synner, was bred by M.A. Douzos & G. Matos, is owned by Sandra Matos or Daniel Rubendall and is trained by G. Matos. He has one win in six starts, earnings of $39,069 and is coming off a July 21 maiden win.

Awe is by Bold Chieftain, out of the Cari Hill Hajii mare Dancing Spray, was bred by Duane Offield, is owned by Linda Espinosa and Offield and is trained by Offield. He has one win in nine starts, earnings of $32,127 and is coming off a fifth in a June 10 optional claimer.
