Cal-bred Trio in Golden Gate Debutante

ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 19, 2017) – Stakes winner Little Doe and fellow California-breds Blessed Lady and Amba are entered in Friday’s $50,000 Golden Gate Debutante Stakes for 2-year-old fillies.

Blessed Lady is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Lord Carson mare Lady Evergreen, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Steve Specht. She has two wins in three starts, earnings of $42,060 and is coming off a fifth in the Oct. 28 Pike Place Dancer.

Amba is by Tribal Rule, out of the Benchmark mare Windover, was bred by Donald and Gloria Smith and is owned by trainer Gloria Haley. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $25,620 and is coming off a second in an Oct. 29 optional claimer.

Little Doe is by Kodiak Kowboy, out of the Richly Blended mare Baby Doe, was bred by owners Dr. & Mrs. William Gray and is trained by Felix Rondan. She has two wins in five stats, earnings of $72,215 and is coming off a sixth in the Oct. 28 Pike Place Dancer.
