Cal-bred Trio in Irish Day

AUBURN, Wash. (June 22, 2017) – California-breds Sorceress Warning, Sheeza Sassy Girl and Reginella are entered in Sunday’s $50,000 Irish Day Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Emerald Downs.

Sorceress Warning is by Elusive Warning, out of the Conquistador Cielo mare Lady Sorceress, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Ezra Lee Craig, Thomas Glasgow or Manuel Ortiz, Sr., and is trained by Ortiz. She has two wins in 12 starts, earnings of $34,026 and is coming off a fourth in the May 28 Kent Stakes.

Sheeza Sassy Girl is by The Pamplemousse, out of the Slewdledo mare Gizmo Girl, was bred by Jared Chappell, is owned by John and Janene Maryanski and is trained by Blaine Wright. She has three wins in nine starts, earnings of $45,840 and is coming off a third in a June 11 optional claimer.

Reginella is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Cahill Road mare Ghost Tree, was bred by DiPietro Thoroughbreds, is owned by Luigi or Diana DiPietro and is trained by Blaine Wright. She has two wins in 10 starts, earnings of $62,873 and is coming off a fifth in the May 28 Kent Stakes.
