ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 11, 2018) – California-breds Cuddle Alert, Ashley’s Sassy and Dis Smart Cat are entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Kalookan Queen Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Cuddle Alert is by Bedford Falls, out of the Gilded Time mare Tee Dee, was bred by Carol Lingenfelter, is owned by Saldana or Urbina and is trained by Reed Saldana. She has Seven wins in 30 starts, earnings of $328,534 and is coming off a second in the Dec. 9 Bear Fan.
Ashley’s Sassy is by Decarchy, out of the Urgent Request mare Ashley’s Folly, was bred by Alesia, Bran Jam Stables & Ciaglia Racing and is trained by Andy Mathis. She has three wins in 22 starts, earnings of $209,610 and is coming off a fifth in a Dec. 1 claimer.
Dis Smart Cat is by Square Eddie, out of the Menifee mare Categorize, was bred by Kevin Devinzenci, is owned by Papa Gallo Racing Stables and is trained by Matthew Chew. She has four wins in 16 starts, earnings of $182,567 and is coming off a fifth in the Dec. 9 Bear Fan.
