Cal-bred Trio in L.A. Woman

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 5, 2017) – California-breds Cuddle Alert, Bad Ju Ju and Dis Smart Cat are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III L.A. Woman Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Cuddle Alert is by Bedford Falls, out of the Gilded Time mare Tee Dee, was bred by Carol Lingenfelter, is owned by Saldana or Urbina and trained by Reed Saldana. She has seven wins in 27 starts, earnings of $301,189 and is coming off a fourth in the Sept. 4 C.E.R.F. Stakes.

Bad Ju Ju is by Desert Code, out of the Snow Ridge mare Ju Ju Baby, was bred by Lo Hi Racing Stable and Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller. She has seven wins in 20 starts, earnings of $342,063 and is coming off a second in the Sept. 4 C.E.R.F. Stakes.

Dis Smart Cat is by Square Eddie, out of the Menifee mare Categorize, was bred by Kevin Devinzenci, is owned by Papa Gallo Stables and trained by Matthew Chew. She has four wins in 13 starts, earnings of $172,454 and is coming off an eighth in a Sept. 4 optional claimer.
