Cal-bred Trio in Zuma Beach

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2015) – California-breds Getoffmyback, Bully Pulpit and Phantom Heat are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Zuma Beach Stakes for 2-year-olds at Santa Anita.
Getoffmyback is by Good Journey, out of the Decarchy mare Cantina’s Rose, was bred by B&B Zietz Stables, is owned by Gary Barber and trained by Peter Miller. He has one win in four starts, earnings of $51,360 and is coming off a fifth in the Sept. 5 Del Mar Juvenile Turf.
Bully Pulpit is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Good Journey mare Brave Journey, was bred by Larry Stein, is owned by Six-S Racing Stable and trained by Craig Lewis. He has two wins in five starts, earnings of $105,430 and is coming off a third in the Sept. 13 Contender.
Phanton Heat is by Sierra Sunset, out of the Unusual Heat mare Passionate Heat, was bred by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, Robert Nugent and Nick Hines, is owned by Bryan Carney and trained by Charles Stutts. He is a maiden making his 12th start with earnings of $10,866.
