Cal Cup Entries Wednesday

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2010) – Entries for California Cup XXI, to be run Saturday, Oct. 30 at Oak Tree at Hollywood Park, will be taken Wednesday.

There will be seven stakes races worth $700,000 on the card for California-bred and California-sired, headlined by the $150,000 California Cup Classic, presented by City National Bank, plus three maiden races with purses of $38,000 and a $20,000 bonus to the owner of each maiden winner.

There will be a six furlong maiden race for 2-year-olds, one for 2-year-old fillies and one at six furlongs on turf for 3-year-olds and up.
