Calibrachoa Repeats in Toboggan

OZONE PARK, N.Y. (Feb. 4, 2012) – Calibrachoa, a Kentucky-bred son of California stallion Southern Image, scored a repeat win in Saturday’s $150,000 Grade III Toboggan Stakes at Aqueduct.

Calibrachoa ran the six furlongs in 1:09.47 and won by 2 ¼ lengths as part of the 2-5 favored entry with third-place finisher Calxa Electronica. Calibrachoa has nine wins in 19 starts with earnings of $546,040.
