California Flag Draws Ambitious Brew

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2015) – Ambitious Brew, fresh off a win the E.B. Johnston Stakes, is entered in Monday’s $100,000 California Flag Handicap for Golden State Series eligibles at Santa Anita.
Ambitious Brew is by Tizbud, out of the Forest Wildcat mare Kathwen, was bred by owner Pamela Ziebarth and is trained by Martin Jones. He has five wins in 14 starts, earnings of $338,130 and is coming off a win in the Sept. 12 E.B. Johnston Stakes.
Rock Me Baby is by Rock Hard Ten, out of the Tale of the Cat mare Barbara Orr, was bred by Mercedes Stables, is owned by West Point Thoroughbreds and trained by Craig Dollase. He has seven wins in 21 starts, earnings of $492,352 and is coming off a sixth in the Aug. 26 Harry F. Brubaker Stakes.
