ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 8, 2017) — CARMA is working in partnership with the racing and equestrian communities to collect monetary donations to be given directly to Thoroughbred horses affected by the Southern California wild fires. Our thoughts and prayers are with our friends and families that have been so greatly impacted by this terrible natural disaster.
The board and staff at CARMA are heartsick over the loss of the life and devastation at San Luis Rey Downs. We will do everything we can to ensure those in need receive the help and support they desperately need.
To help the horses, donations can be made to CARMA online at www.carma4horses.org/make-a-donation. Checks can be made out to CARMA and mailed to 285 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia CA 91007. Please designate your donation by including “fire relief” in the memo line or notes.
