Large Field for CTBA Stakes

DEL MAR, Calif. (July 27, 2015) – Ibelievewewillwin, runner-up in the Juan Gonzalez Memorial, and Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Marquee Cat lead a field of 11 entered in Friday’s $100,000 California Thoroughbred Breeders Association Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 2-year-old fillies at Del Mar.

Ibelievewewillwin is by Onebadshark, out of the Mr. Procrastinator mare Sulaymondo, was bred by owners Wayne and Peggy Atwell and E-Racing.Com and is trained by John Martin. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $33,280 and is coming off a second in the July 4 Juan Gonzalez Memorial.

Aiming Straight is by Swiss Yodeler, out of the Slewdledo mare Armed N Dangerous, was bred by Revocable Trust of Mikel Harrington and Patricia Harrington and is owned by trainer Patricia Harrington. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $41,450 and is coming off a July 2 maiden win.

She’s a Classic is by Square Eddie, out of the Dixie Brass mare Classic Moment, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Edward Freeman. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $33,850 and is coming off a sixth in the June 21 Landaluce.

Baby Bea Scattin is by Scat Daddy, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Unbridled Echo, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Lovingier and Amanda Navarro and is trained by Art Sherman. She won her lone start May 29 with earnings of $33,600.

My Palmilla is a Washington-bred by California stallion Tribal Rule, out of the Slewdledo mare Bella Campana, was bred by Mr. and Mrs. William Griffin, is owned by Linear Bannasch and Rodney Orr and is trained by Mark Glatt. She won her lone start July 16 with earnings of $42,000.

Reckless Charm is by Unusual Heat, out of the Indian Charlie mare Lottawampum, was bred by Edward Mercado, is owned by DP Racing and trained by James Cassidy. She is a maiden making her third start with earnings of $18,368.

Obey is by Desert Code, out of the Wekiva Springs mare Spring Vacation, was bred by Woodbridge Farm & Glen Road Racing Stable, is owned by Ted Serna and trained by Sam Scolamieri. She won her lone start June 25 with earnings of $33,600.

Just Google Me is by Stormin Fever, out of the Crytoclearance mare Lila Paige, was bred by Golden Eagle Farm, is owned by CTR Stables and trained by Scott Rollins. She won her lone start July 3 with earnings of $30,000.

Marquee Cat is by  Brave Cat, out of the Marquetry mare Angie’s Marquee, was bred by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, is owned by the Schmitts, Meister, Wallace and Wallace and is trained by Jeff Bonde. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $20,905 and is coming off a fifth in the July 4 Juan Gonzalez Memorial. She was a $2,000 purchase at last year’s Northern California Yearling Sale.

Later My Love is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Mr. Prospector mare Lavender Mine, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Jeff Bonde. She won her lone start June 12 with earnings of $33,600.
