CTBA’s Rosemary Stringer Passes

ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 9, 2017) – Rosemary Stringer, longtime staff member of the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association, passed away last week. She was 87.

Stringer, reared in the San Gabriel Valley, worked for the CTBA from 1981 until her retirement in 2012. She began in the registration department, worked as a receptionist and then became membership manager.

Stringer is survived by two children, Tate Stringer and Hillary Ward.

A celebration of her life will be held at Santa Anita’s Clocker’s Corner on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m.
