LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 9, 2017) – Dee Dee Birtie, a mare by California stallion Bluegrass Cat, sold for $285,000 at Friday’s session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.
Dee Dee Birtie, a 5-year-old, is out of the multiple stakes-winning De Niro mare De Bertie, who produced stakes winner Uptown Birtie, Whirlie Birtie and Get Ready Birtie, the latter two having alreadyproduced stakes-placed prodigy.
Dee Dee Birtie is in foal to More Than Ready, was consigned by Paramount Sales, agent for the complete dispersal of McCauley Farms, and was purchased by Three Chimneys Farm.
