ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2017) – Elwood J is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $75,000 Baffle Stakes for 3-year-olds at Santa Anita. The race will be run as the first on the card with a noon post.
Elwood J is by Vronsky, out of the In Excess mare Preservingthepeace, was bred by Old English Rancho, Patsy Berumen & Sal Berumen, is owned by Joe Turner and trained by Jerry Hollendorfer.
He has two wins in five starts, earnings of $83,940 and is coming off a Jan. 20 optional claiming win.
