Farms Offer to Accept Displaced Horses

ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 8, 2017) – Two farms have offered to accept horses displaced by the Lilac Fire in San Diego County.

The farms are:

EF1 Farms in Hemet area, which has an on-call veterinarian, a MASH unit, as well as handling lay-ups and training. The farm is offering help in shipping. Contact Eric Yohan, 310-383-0055; Nadine Anderson, 951-201-2278 or Sam, 310-755-5221.

Dignitary Downs, in the Anza area, reports it can accept 300 horses. The farm has 200 fully fenced acres, a 40-stall training barn, a 5/8-mile track with some housing available for people. Contact Sergio Salazar, 951-858-9589.
