NorCal Grad Marquee Cat in Gonzalez

PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 1, 2015) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Marquee Cat is in the field for Saturday’s $50,000 Juan Gonzalez Memorial Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Oak Tree at Pleasanton.

Ourprincessmelanie is by Roi Charmant, out of the Gotham City mare King City Kitty, was bred by owner Martin Bach and is trained by William Morey. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $24,336 and is coming off a June 13 maiden win.

Ibelievewewillwin is by Onebadshark, out of the Mr. Procrastinator mare Sulaymondo, was bred by owners Wayne Atwell, Peggy Atwell and E-Racing.com and is trained by John Martin. She won her lone start with earnings of $20,280.

Marquee Cat is by Brave Cat, out of the Marquetry mare Angie’s Marquee, was bred by Geroge and Mary Clare Schmitt, is owned by Meister, Schmitt, Schmitt, Wallace and Wallace and is trained by Jeff Bonde. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $19,605 and is coming off a maiden win June 25. She was a $2,000 purchase at last year’s Northern California Yearling Sale.

Sambamzajammin is by Heatseeker, out of the Capote mare Cinema Paradisa, was bred by Harris Farms, is owned by Dickman Legacy Ranch and is trained by John Brocklebank. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $63,160 and is coming off a third in the June 21 Landaluce.

She’s So Vain is by Gotham City, out of the Pentelicus mare Chanceofalifetime, was bred by owner Martin Bach and is trained by William Morey. She won her lone start with earnings of $8,400.
