Foal Report

Instructions

1. To facilitate registration and to maintain the records of the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association, official registry for all Thoroughbred California-breds eligible to be registered as such, this report is to be filled out at the end of each foaling season and submitted as indicated on the face of the report. It is meant to cover all Thoroughbred foals dropped in California during the current calendar year and without regard to whether they are or are not eligible for registration as Cal-breds or are or are not owned by members of the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association.
2. Owners of foals dropped during the current calendar year should report them regardless of whether the foal was dropped at their farm or while the dam was being maintained elsewhere.
3. All farm owners or managers should report all Thoroughbred foals dropped at their farms regardless of whether these were the property of the farm owner or the owners of mares being boarded.
