INGLEWOOD, Calif. (May 20, 2010) – You Lift Me Up and U R All That I am, a pair of Tommy Town Thoroughbred bred runners, are among the entries in Sunday’s $60,000 Fran’s Valentine Stakes for California-bred and sired fillies and mares at one mile on the Hollywood Park turf course.

Lady Alex is by Benchmark, out of the Mutakddim mare Go Ask Daisy, was bred by Julie Berta, is owned by Tom Mankiewicz and trained by John Sadler. She has four wins in 13 starts, earnings of $136,376 and is coming off a third in the Apr. 24 B. Thoughtful.

Woman Warrior is by One Man Army, out of the Native Regent mare Marrakech Gold, was bred by Bruce Headley and Richard Matlow and is owned by trainer Bruce Headley. She has four wins in 14 starts, earnings of $148,012 and is coming off a fifth in an Apr. 28 optional claimer.
