SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (Aug. 11, 2016) – Free N Clear, a New York-bred daughter of California stallion Bluegrass Cat, won Thursday’s $100,000 New York Stallion Series Stakes at Saratoga.
Free N Clear is a 3-year-old out of the Wheaton mare Mama I’m Home. She has three wins in nine starts, earnings of $146,930 and ran the mile on turf in 1:36.94, winning by one-half length at odds of 8-1 in a field of seven.
