G. G. Ryder in Joseph T. Grace

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (Aug. 9, 2017) – Multiple graded winning California-bred G. G. Ryder and Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Camino Del Paraiso are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Joseph T. Grace Handicap at the Sonoma County Fair.

G. G. Ryder is by Chhaya Dance, out of the Storm Boot mare Stormy Gigi, was bred by Eagle Oak Ranch, is owned by Hollendorfer or George Todaro and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has 13 wins in 37 starts, earnings of $620,095 and is coming off a fourth in the July 29 California Dreamin’.

Camino Del Paraiso is by Suances, out of the Successful Appeal mare Loni’s Appeal, was bred by Red Baron’s Barn, is owned by Glen Road Racing, Jauregui or Moniz and is trained by O.J. Juaregui. The $5,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has three wins in 13 starts, earnings of $114,449 and is coming off a fifth in a June 25 allowance.

Another graduate of the Northern California Yearling Sale entered is Pure Comedy, by Pure Prize, out of the Comic Strip mare Comedy Girl, was bred in Arizona by H & E Ranch, is owned by Auyeung, Carpenter, Desimone, Kelly, et al, and is trained by Bill McLean. The $33,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has three wins in 15 starts, earnings of $76,275 and is coming off a fifth in the July 4 Oak Tree Sprint.
