ELMONT, N.Y. (Sept. 26, 2012) – Grade II winner Halo Dolly is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $600,000 Grade I Flower Bowl Invitational Stakes for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
Halo Dolly is by Popular, out of the Comic Strip mare Spanish Halo, was bred by Rod and Lorraine Rodriguez, is owned by Blackmore, Hoefflin, Hoefflin, Hollendorfer et al and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer.
She has 13 wins in 22 starts, earnings of $623,396 and is coming off a win in the Sept. 3 Yellow Ribbon.
