SHAKOPEE, Minn. (June 18, 2017) – Hay Dakota, a Kentucky-bred son of California stallion Haynesfield, won Sunday’s $100,000 Mystic Lake Mile Stakes at Canterbury Park.
Hay Dakota is out of the Harlan’s Holiday mare Church by the Sea. He has five wins in 15 starts and earnings of $216,580.
He ran the mile on turf in 1:35.37 and won by a head at odds of 6-1 in a field of eight.
