DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 29, 2014) – Solana Beach Stakes winner Heat Du Jour is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $200,000 Grade II Yellow Ribbon Stakes for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
Heat Du Jour is by Unusual Heat, out of the Half a Year mare Style of the Year, was bred by Madeline Auerbach, is owned by Jerry Hollendorfer, Mark Schlaich and George Todaro and is trained by Hollendorfer.
She has five wins in 23 starts, earnings of $252,998 and is coming off a win in the Aug. 17 Solana Beach.
