OPELOUSAS, La. (July 4, 2015) – Heatseeker Sharon, a Louisiana-bred by California stallion Heatseeker, led all the way to win Saturday’s $100,000 Louisiana Legends Distaff Stakes for fillies and mares at Evangeline Downs.
Heatseeker Sharon is out of the Carson City mare Carson City Sham. She ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:45.23 and won by 1 ½ lengths as the 5-2 favorite.
She has four wins in 15 starts with earnings of $180,840.
